What we keep

This page sets out what the site stores on your device, what we collect when you get in touch, why, and who processes it on our behalf.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies at all. It runs no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising tags of its own. We do not track you across sites, we do not sell your data, and we share nothing with ad networks.

What is stored on your device

The site keeps a short list of preferences in your browser’s local storage. Every one of them is a choice you made here:

WhatWhy
atcl-read-sizeThe text size you picked in the reading tools.
atcl-read-lensWhether the magnifier is switched on.
atcl-themeThe theme you chose.
atcl-voice-langThe language the assistant speaks.

These stay on your device and are never sent to our servers. If you choose Don’t remember, we clear them and stop writing them: your choices still work for the visit, they are simply forgotten afterwards. You can clear them yourself at any time in your browser settings.

Three things we keep either way

These are kept whatever you answer, because the site cannot do what you asked of it otherwise:

WhatWhy
atcl-consentYour answer to this question. Without it we would ask again on every page.
atcl-audio-mutedThat you muted the assistant. Forgetting it would mean talking at you again next visit.
atcl-greetThat you asked the introduction not to play by itself. An opt-out we forget is not an opt-out.

All three record a decision you made to stop something. You can still remove them by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

We also keep brief state for the current tab — for example whether the introduction has already played. That disappears when you close the tab.

What we collect when you get in touch

If you send the contact form, or ask the assistant for a callback, we keep what you give us so we can answer:

The lawful basis is carrying out your request, and our legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse. We do not use this for marketing unless you ask us to.

Who processes it with us

WhoWhat for
OpenAIGenerating the assistant’s replies. What you type or say is sent there to produce the answer.
Web3FormsDelivering contact form messages to our inbox.
Google (reCAPTCHA)Telling a person from a bot on the contact forms, so the forms are not used to send us junk. Since April 2026 Google acts as our processor for this under the Google Cloud data processing terms.

Fonts and the assistant’s spoken introductions are served from our own domain, so your browser makes no third-party request to display this site.

reCAPTCHA does not load on page view. Google’s script is fetched the first time you put the cursor in a contact form, not when you arrive — so if you never use a form, nothing of yours reaches Google. When it does run it checks the form submission only, and we keep its score alongside the enquiry so we can tell a real message from an automated one. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the forms usable; you can write to sales@atclarabia.com instead and no check runs at all.

One page is different. Our Veeam partner page can show a section published by Veeam from their own servers, which sets its own cookies and runs its own analytics. We do not control either. That section does not load until you press Load Veeam content, so nothing from Veeam reaches your browser unless you ask for it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as they are needed to answer you and to manage the relationship. Temporary conversation state and rate-limit counters are deleted automatically every hour.

Your rights

Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our processing of it, and withdraw consent.

To do any of that, write to sales@atclarabia.com or call +966 12 215 1117. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).
